Afternoon Electives

Choose 1 option per week:

Performing Arts

Discover the world of performance through our engaging Performing Arts elective, delivered by Abie Walton from The North Wall Theatre in Summertown as part of our exciting partnership with the theatre. Open to all students on the Junior programme, this six-hour-per-week elective requires no previous experience or language ability - just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. Through a varied programme of improvisation, character exploration and devising physical theatre, students can join for one week or several, developing valuable skills in teamwork, voice and articulation, personal presentation, public speaking and thinking on their feet. Our partnership with The North Wall also provides unique opportunities beyond the classroom, including hosting participants from their ArtsLab programme, gallery visits and artist talks, and the use of the theatre by our IB students for their end-of-year performance.
