ANTON

GERMANY, ENGLISH FOR EXAMS 2023

"Classes are smaller compared to my home country, it’s not like school at all, it’s way more independent! It’s based on our needs, our wants and I think that’s really great because the teachers do not have to follow a set structure. I’m really glad I did this course, it has prepared me well for the IELTS exam!

Learn exam tips, practise exam techniques, improve your test-day strategies and develop study skills for IELTS or Cambridge exams. Receive individual feedback from practice exams and gain confidence through discussions and presentations.

  • IELTS Exam: IELTS is a popular English Language exam and can be taken every month in Oxford. It tests your language ability in the 4 key skills reading, writing, listening and speaking and is widely used by universities as an entrance requirement.
  • Cambridge Exams: FCE and CAE (two of the Cambridge Examinations) language exams are well known and highly regarded. These exams may be available in your home country.

Study Visits and Guest Speakers

Being based in the academic city of Oxford gives students access to an exciting programme of Guest Speakers and Study Visits. Recent speakers include Ricky Needham, Ian Polychronakis and James Nugee. Study visits have taken students to the Ashmolean Museum, Natural History Museum and Modern Art Oxford, offering rich learning beyond the classroom.
