BRAZIL, ART & DIGITAL DESIGN 2022
|
Explore and develop creative art and digital design techniques in our purpose-built art studio complete with dark room, printing press and a wide range of resources. Be inspired by Oxford’s historical and contemporary architecture, museums and art galleries. Showcase learning through the creation of artwork for an exhibition.
Studio-time: You will be able to dedicate whole mornings or afternoons to work on your projects whilst benefiting from the advice and guidance of our teachers.
New techniques: You will have the opportunity to learn and develop a wide range of artistic techniques including:
- darkroom and digital photographing, editing, and displaying
- 2D drawing, painting, printmaking, illustrating, designing, and exhibiting
- 3D textiles, fashion and casting
Exhibition
You will work towards the final Friday when you will present your work at an exhibition for your classmates.
Study Visits and Guest Speakers
Find inspiration in local art galleries and museums, with study visits including the Ashmolean Museum, the Museum of Modern Art Oxford, and the North Wall Gallery.
Careers Advice Session
Our Art & Digital Design course includes a dedicated Careers Advice session, where students meet with our experienced University and Career Counsellors to explore future pathways, university options, and career opportunities. This guidance helps students make informed decisions and plan their next steps with confidence.

Project Eco-Innovation
Students who join on our second summer start date have the option to extend their programme by taking part in our Project Eco-Innovation week in Oxford.
This unique, multi-disciplinary programme brings together students from different courses to research, design, and present bold eco-solutions to real-world challenges.
