FRANCE, ENGLISH FOR EXAMS 2022

Our English for Exams course develops your English language skills for IELTS or Cambridge exams.
You will develop your language competence in reading, writing, listening and speaking through structured activities. Our supportive teachers help you reach your potential in preparation for your language exam. This course covers language development, fluency in speaking, examination strategies and enables you to practise timed language tasks.
- IELTS: English for Examinations prepares you for the IELTS language exam. An English language qualification may be required for professional purposes or for further study at a university. The IELTS test is accepted in over 120 countries including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. If you choose to study with us, you will benefit from being able to take your test in the city of Oxford.
- Cambridge Advanced/Proficiency: English for Examinations prepares you for the Cambridge language exams First Certificate in English (FCE), Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) and Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE). The Cambridge exams are accepted by over 25,000 universities, employers and governments across 130 countries. These globally trusted exams open doors to higher education, career opportunities, and migration pathways by proving real-world English language proficiency.
- 5 lessons per day – split into 3 distinct parts.
Your first two lessons cover grammar and vocabulary, primarily to work on accuracy and build a strong base for your English.
- In your exam-focused lessons you learn how to pass your chosen exam, focusing on techniques and strategies. This will include practice tests and clear instruction on how to best approach the exam.
A teacher is available to give you individual guidance in the Open Learning club for one lesson every day. This is a time to ask questions, practice additional tests and focus on your own personal goals.
