CAS EXPERIENCES
PER WEEK
Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) gives our students an opportunity to enhance their personal and interpersonal development by learning and engaging with worthwhile and enjoyable experiences.
Participation in the CAS programme encourages our students to try something new, or develop their special talents while improving their fitness, awareness of others, and the ability to work cooperatively.
The benefits of CAS include:

- strengthening language and communication skills
- growing personally through innovative challenges

With over 50 Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) experiences a week, students can create a personalised CAS programme, which aligns with their interests or skills. The emphasis should be on creating a balanced programme of creative, active, and service opportunities.
You can select a minimum of 3 experiences per term.

This covers diverse arts and creative pursuits, offering opportunities to try something new or take on creative challenges.
Activity
This encourages skill building and enjoyment through sports and physical activity, promoting lasting interest in health and wellbeing.
Service
Connect with individuals, communities, or nonprofits to engage, support, and build commitment.
CAS Project
As an IB student (year 1), you will complete a CAS project as part of your studies. This encourages you to reflect on your experiences and explore how you have met the skills and attributes of the IB learner profile.
The CAS project challenges you to show initiative, problem solve, demonstrate perseverance, and develop skills in cooperation and teamwork. It also encourages you to become open-minded and self-aware, through your engagement in globally significant issues.
