A VIBRANT PART
OF STUDENT LIFE
Sport is a vibrant part of life at St Clare’s, promoting health, well-being, and community through a wide range of inclusive activities for all interests and abilities.
Team Sports
Team sports at St Clare’s foster teamwork, strategic thinking, discipline, and a strong sense of school spirit. Students have the opportunity to represent the school in friendly matches and tournaments throughout the year.
Competitive team sports include:
- Boys’ and Girls’ Football
- Basketball
- Badminton
- Volleyball
- Chess
All students participating in competitive sports are required to purchase and wear the official St Clare’s fixtures kit. Specific kit requirements for each sport will be communicated by the CAS Coaches. Wearing the official kit is an important part of representing St Clare’s with pride during fixtures and competitions.
Weekly Activities
Students can take part in weekly fitness and wellness activities such as yoga, dance, cycling, circuit training, boxing and padel, promoting strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Staff-led gym sessions support individual fitness goals, while Running and Walking Clubs offer an active way to explore Oxford. Tennis lessons are also available for both recreational and competitive players.
