As a CELTA candidate at St Clare’s, you are welcome to book accommodation with us for the duration of your studies.
We offer a safe and comfortable residential experience, either in college residences or with a homestay provider, close to campus, Summertown and Oxford city centre. All accommodation options include free Wi-Fi and 24-hour support.
Both accommodation options offer unique benefits:

- HOMESTAY: Immerse yourself in British life and culture with a host who helps you settle into life in Oxford.
Residences are close to campus, Summertown, and only a short bus ride from Oxford city centre.
Support is available from our residential staff during office hours, with 24-hour telephone support at evenings and weekends.
Our residences for CELTA candidates offer:
- a choice of single or twin room, with either shared or own bathroom in room or in-flat arrangement
- fully equipped kitchen for self-catering
- communal spaces, such as common rooms, dining rooms and outdoor green spaces
- a residential manager

Food
Lunch is included in your tuition fee, Monday to Friday, in the dining hall.
Our bright and spacious dining hall provides a comfortable and relaxed space to eat and socialise. We offer a wide range of delicious and nutritious meals, catering for all dietary requirements and promoting a well-balanced diet.
Breakfast and dinner are available on a pay-as-you-go basis in the dining hall, giving you the flexibility to choose the meals that suit your routine and preferences.
Snacks and drinks are available all day at our café, The Globe, and in the Student Hub. In addition, there are many cafés and restaurants offering different cuisines within walking distance in Summertown, or in Oxford city centre.
